In the first movie Zeke was hiding the fact that he loves to cook however, once he realized that since his good friend Troy had the guts to sing in public and face his friends knowing they would not approve, then Zeke had the courage to stand in front of all his friends and told them that he loves to cook. Collectively, the movie wouldn't be the same without him. He was a great basketball player as well.
Zeke's character, contrary to his 'cool' stereotype, is a great cook.
